Haefligers Cottage

2 – 28 March 2017

In 1999, Greg Weight spent two weeks in Hill End, producing a hand-coloured suite of photographs as a result. 18 years on, Weight plans to produce a second suite from the same points of view, this time using digital technology and Photoshop to replicate the images. Weight will also continue an ongoing project photographing the night sky, and also plans to start a new series of portraits of local Hill End residents. Carol Ruff will create a series of plein air gouache and watercolour works looking at the Hill End landscape, including a multi panel composition combining foreground, middle distance and far distance studies. Ruff will also continue with a suite of still life paintings in and around the cottage.
