CHRISTINE DRUITT-PRESTON

Haefligers Cottage

1 – 26 November 2020

During her residency, artist Christine Druitt-Preston will develop ideas related to her 2019 Tweed Regional Gallery exhibition ‘Olley Land’ by investigating Margaret Olley’s connection to Hill End and Jean Bellette, through drawing Haefligers’ cottage interior and garden. In addition, Druitt-Preston will research and make drawings for artworks related to Hill End’s artistic heritage of women artists and artisans, whose artworks respond to still life, domestic interiors and gardens.
