LOUISE KERR

Murrays Cottage

1 – 26 August 2020

During her residency, Louise Kerr will immerse herself in the local landscape and community, creating a number of small sculptures accompanied by a series of drawings.

Kerr will take inspiration from the local district, its people, dogs (both domestic and wild) and history. Kerr uses the ancient technique of coiling and hand sewing fine hemp twine and cotton thread to create forms which are then painted with pigments and clay.
