Haefligers Cottage

Neil Taylor's work has normally focussed on the romantic and mystic symbolism of light in wilderness and oceans. However during his Hill End residency he will be researching imagery which indicates the interaction between the disappearing marks of man and the regenerating natural environment and , in particular, the new mythology this juxtaposition now suggests. While he has painted in the area in the past he is hoping for a much deeper understanding from this extended stay.
