Jo Young’s practice involves painting still life compositions using traditional methods and materials. Young will create a series of work investigating the Hill End landscape as well as still life arrangements using objects found in the cottage once belonging to Jean Bellette and Paul Haefliger. Young is interested in featuring the heritage garden and its plum, fig, and cumquats, in her still life compositions and landscape paintings.
